I worked with Steve at Cytec for a long period of time, as collegue, my best manager, and friend. We are greatful we had the opportunity to catch up with Steve and Carol in June 2019 during dinner, sharing our worries, memories and some Gin Tonics. I worked closely with Steve during his time at Vickers Oils, he brought with him a lot of experience in Supply Chain and enabled us to implement new ways of working and streamline our supply chain. He was a great person to work with, able to bring about change by working with people to bring out the best in them. He always remained positive and was a pleasure to work with. We still continue to operate the system implemented by Steve and his legacy will continue in Vickers for many years to come. I have fond memories of football discussions with Steve and always think of him when I see the Pompey result. I know he was a lifelong supporter and really proud to have gone to Wembley in 2019 for the game against Sunderland. Pompey have lost a true fan. I am honoured and blessed to have known Steve and trust that he is now able to rest in peace.
